Full Calculator Version:

Release 20140605:

  • Removed the confusing what-if bands of cells that used to allow directly manipulating SW and Key Dip. What-if scenarios still can be played by manipulating the FW and Blow distance values until SW and key dip match desired values.
  • Added WW (wippen radius weight) and KR (key ratio) cells on the Measurements tab to allow playing what-if scenarios with wippen support springs set to different strengths, and modifying the key ratio with half-moon punchings, moving the capstans, and other methods. The knuckle distance still can't be modified directly, only by altering the action leverage ratio.
  • Added measured values and calculations to the left of all calculator cells, allowing to quickly compare what-if with measured values without the need to repeatedly reset the calculator to measurements.
  • The Divergence Totals section on the Measurements tab now displays calculations based on measurements and values from calculator tabs side by side.
  • Several color coding ranges have been corrected.
  • Color coding and baseline values have been established for front and rear key segment measurements.

Release 20140516:

  • Resolved error when clicking 'Reset all measurements to defaults'
  • Moved 'Reset all measurements to defaults' away from 'Set calculator tabs from measurements' button to prevent clicking inadvertently
  • Weight & Distance Calc tab: added weight estimates for hammer #1 to facilitate specifying the weight of replacement hammers.

Release 20140316:

  • The spreadsheet now contains 4 tabs, allowing to enter all measurements on one tab and use calculator tabs without altering the original measurements
  • Measurements can be reset to defaults without affecting the calculators and vice versa
  • Strike Weight and plain Hammer Weight estimates for hammer #1 have been added to the Weight & Distance calculator tab
  • Formulas and conditional color values have been adjusted
  • Pop-up comments with explanations and baseline values were added to all measurement fields
